EMPLOYMENT LAW


Employment law is the area of law which covers the relationship between an employee and his or her employer.  There are both State and Federal laws which govern the employment relationship. 

We represent employees in both State and Federal Courts and before State and Federal administrative agencies on  employment law issues. 

Unlike many firms which handle employment law, we exclusively represent employees, we do not  defend employers on  these types of claims.  Attorney Barbara Stratton of our firm is the Partner who handles employment law cases.  In both 2001 and 2006 Ms. Stratton was named by Delaware Today magazine as one of the top Lawyers in Delaware.

FEES FOR EMPLOYMENT CONSULTATIONS & REPRESENTATION


For employment cases, there is a $300.00 consultation fee due at the time of an initial consultation appointment. The terms and conditions of representation in employment law cases depends upon Knepper & Stratton's assessment of the merits of the claim. Employment cases taken on a contingency fee basis usually require the payment of a minimum fee/retainer.
